Writing Duo Announce Upcoming Release of Gripping New Novel - TAYLOR: ROLLING FORK



Los Angeles, CA – January 5, 2025 – Acclaimed novelist and visionary director La’Chris Robinson Jordan, in collaboration with her father Paul Jordan, is thrilled to announce the release of their highly anticipated novel, Taylor: Rolling Fork. Scheduled for release in Summer 2025, this exciting new book marks Robinson Jordan’s fourth literary work and promises to captivate readers with its riveting blend of mystery and suspense.

About the Book: Taylor: Rolling Fork introduces readers to Detective Marcus Taylor, a seasoned LAPD homicide detective who returns to his hometown of Rolling Fork, Alabama, for a much-needed break. However, his peaceful visit turns into a high-stakes investigation when a local woman is found murdered and her family goes missing. Taylor, drawn back into the world of crime he thought he had left behind, discovers dark secrets buried deep within the small town. With the help of old friends and a complex web of intrigue, Taylor must unravel the mystery while confronting his own past.

About the Authors:

La’Chris Robinson Jordan is a novelist, playwright, and visionary filmmaker known for her gritty dramas, westerns, and period pieces. Taylor: Rolling Fork represents her fourth book, following the success of historical novels The Memories of Bellevue and The Roses I Left Behind. La’Chris recently adapted Harper Jameson’s spy thriller about Josephine Baker, I Wasn't Really Naked, and is recognized as one of the "100 Most Fascinating People in Los Angeles." As a 2023 cohort of the Sony-backed Creative Corridor and a BIPOC Writers Fellow, she has earned acclaim for her unique storytelling and contributions to the arts. Her theatre work has also garnered her accolades, including being a semifinalist for the Lila Acheson Wallace American Playwrights Program at Juilliard. Robinson Jordans’ family drama, Sadie’s Kitchen, is set to be performed at Acts on Stage Theatre in Seattle in March 2025. Paul Jordan brings a unique perspective to the literary world with his debut collaboration on Taylor: Rolling Fork. Mr. Jordan served with distinction in the U.S. Army, adding a unique perspective to his storytelling. He brings a distinct voice to the literary world with his debut collaboration on Taylor: Rolling Fork. Born and raised in San Diego, California, Paul graduated with a B.A. in Social Justice from Antioch University in 2009. After dedicating over 15 years to working at Seatac Airport, Paul is now retired and focused on his passion for writing. His military background, combined with his life experiences, contributes to the depth and authenticity found in the novel.
